The 4th Annual AMIT New Generation Evening -
Scavenger Event at Grand Central Terminal
All Aboard!
Over 150 member of the AMIT New Generation gathered at the world famous Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Guests were treated to a fine cocktail hour, which was preceded by a fun scavenger hunt that led them to all corners of the historic landmark. The hunt included brain-busters like this:
“Go to the doors of a place where mollusks get drunk. In front of the doors is the “Whisper Gallery”: If you talk facing any corner, someone at the opposite corner can hear you. But if you try this, people may think you’re nuts. What kind of nuts are always nearby?”
(Answer: Acorns, a symbol of the Vanderbilt family)
NEW GENERATION SCAVENGER EVENT SLIDESHOW PRESENTATION
The location of the event was not lost on Avi Shapira, a guest at the event. “It was a great event at a symbolic venue, Grand Central Station, in that our strong base of supporters is the engine that powers AMIT's influential train that helps Israel's youth reach their potential."
Chaired by Debbie Stern Blumenthal and Michael Blumenthal of Englewood, New Jersey, Danna and Gilad Kalter of Manhattan, and Robyn Price Stonehill, the event raised over $160,000 for our children in Israel.
