AMIT PRESIDENT’S EVENING SCHEDULED AT MUSUEM OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK


New York City, February 14, 2006...... AMIT has scheduled its 2006 President’s Evening for Saturday, March 18, 2006, at the Museum of the City of New York, 1220 Fifth Avenue in New York City, beginning at 8:30 p.m. The evening will include an elegant buffet dinner and tours of the museum’s exhibits.

Ellen and Meyer Koplow, residents of New Rochelle, are chairing the event. All proceeds will benefit AMIT’s network of schools and students in Israel.

Founded in 1923, the Museum of the City of New York seeks to engage visitors in exploring the past, present, and future of the five boroughs of New York City as well as the city's astonishing cultural diversity. The museum presents a wide variety of exhibitions, public programs, and publications, all investigating what gives New York City its singular character.

The President’s Evening, an annual AMIT event, is $500 per person. Valet parking is included with all reservations. Please call 212-477-4720, ext. 135, for further information.
