AMIT gives you the opportunity to better the lives of thousands of Israeli children, ensuring their future as productive citizens of the Jewish State.
As a member of AMIT you will be part of our efforts to support the State of Israel on the world stage, including policy on a national level. Because of our reputation and record of success, the views of AMIT are solicited and sought after by experts and government officials in both Israel and the United States.
AMIT offers a variety of affinity groups and chapters. You will meet dynamic, accomplished women and men who share your interests and beliefs. You will have opportunities to participate in social activities, trips, networking, conferences, seminars, our National Convention and so much more. Your annual commitment will secure the financial stability of the AMIT Network and ensure the continued excellence of our renowned educational programs as well as the nurturing and care so essential to our students' well-being.
- Private tutorial hours that have dramatically increased the number of AMIT students passing the bagrut.
- Counselors and social workers who must deal not only with the effects of severely troubled backgrounds, but with the added psychological trauma brought about by three years of unrelenting terrorism.
- Surrogate family residences where abused and abandoned children can be cared for in a warm, family environment.
- Expanded school hot meal programs to accommodate the growing number of children whose parents cannot provide them with proper nutrition at home.
- Supplementary funds for textbooks and school supplies for students unable to afford to purchase even these basics.
- Educational programs addressing all needs - the emotionally and physically challenged, the autistic, and other children requiring special attention and services.
