The Study of Torah Equals All Mitzvot The Talmud
At more than 75 AMIT schools, youth villages, surrogate family residences and other programs, children from kindergarten through junior college spend each day engaged in the pursuit of knowledge. They are children from all walks of life: Sabras and recent immigrants, children from disadvantaged families and children from middle class homes, children with learning disabilities, gifted children, well-adjusted children and children in distress. Every morning, more than 20,000 Israeli children greet the new day at an AMIT school.
Our new Gift of Learning initiative gives donors the opportunity to sponsor a special day of learning at an AMIT school in memory of or in honor of a loved one. The children will be notified that they are learning that day in memory of or in honor of the individual, individuals or family of your choice. And, to acknowledge your kind generosity, a beautiful certificate will be sent to you, or to those you are honoring, if you prefer.
Sponsoring a day of learning by an AMIT class requires a donation of only $360. For $500, an entire AMIT school will dedicate a day’s learning in memory of or in honor of your loved ones. Or you may choose to sponsor a day of learning at one of our AMIT youth villages for $1,800 or a day of learning for five years at $5,000. Whatever option you choose will provide much needed assistance to our AMIT students while paying tribute to those you designate in the best tradition of our Jewish heritage.

Please note that all contributions to AMIT are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. AMIT meets all Standards of Charity Accountability of the Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan New York.
